Who said airports were just for jet setters?
Recently, we had the chance to flip burgers and provide catering (whilst we soak up the sun) at Signature Aviation's Family Fun Day, held at Luton Airport. And let me tell you, it was anything but your average weekend outing.
It was a bright, sunny day, the aroma of sizzling burgers (and aviation fuel!) wafting through the air, and the sound of plane engines humming in the distance.
Loads of sleek jets, the occasional roar of an engine, and then... an American school bus? Yep, you read that right. As surreal as it sounds, our yellow bus parked next to the taxiway added an unexpected twist to the airside ambiance. EasyJet and RyanAir passengers must have done a double-take as they caught sight of this unexpected visitor from across the pond.
But hey, isn't that what makes events like this so special? It's all about challenging expectations, and creating unforgettable moments. And in that spirit, our burger-flipping escapade at Signature Aviation was a lovely day for all!
