We received an exciting invitation from CEF in London to join them in celebrating the grand opening of their brand new branch and provide catering.
Eager to be a part of this special occasion, we packed up our delicious NYC style pizza slices and headed to the heart of the city (well, outskirts or North London!) to feed hungry customers and join in the festivities.
As we arrived at the venue, we were greeted with enthusiasm and anticipation.
Despite the initially atrocious weather, spirits were high as we set up our grab-and-go pizza station, ready to serve up slices of piping hot pizza to eager patrons.
Once the rain subsided and the clouds parted, the mood lifted, and the grand opening festivities kicked into high gear. CEF Customers flooded in, drawn by the promise of delicious food.
Our NYC style pizza slices were an instant hit! From classic cheese to pepperoni and everything in between, there was something to satisfy every palate.
As customers indulged in our slices, we couldn't help but feel a sense of pride knowing that we were contributing to the success of CEF's grand opening.
However, amidst the excitement of the event, we encountered a bump in the road – the dreaded ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone).
Despite our best efforts to comply with the regulations, an issue with our auto-pay resulted in a hefty £500 fine. A frustrating setback, to say the least.
But, as they say, every cloud has a silver lining. Thanks to a timely appeal, the ticket was swiftly canceled, allowing us to breathe a sigh of relief and focus on the positive moments of the day (Unlucky Sadiq and your war on motorists)
Despite the challenges, our experience at CEF's grand opening was nothing short of fantastic. We're grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a special occasion and to share our love for NYC style pizza with the people of London.
