Excitement was in the air as Stagecoach Northampton unveiled their fleet of state-of-the-art buses, complete with cutting-edge features like onboard announcements and more.
To commemorate this milestone, they extended a special invitation to us to provide a hearty breakfast and scrumptious burgers for their drivers and staff from our corporate catering package.
However, as luck would have it, our trusty Burger Bus decided to throw a curveball and refused to start. With quick thinking and adaptability, we swiftly transferred our cooking equipment to the Pizza Bus and hit the road.
The following morning saw an early start, with our team arriving on site at the crack of dawn to ensure everything was prepped and ready to go.
But as is often the case before an early start, sleep proved elusive, leaving the team feeling a bit worse for wear by 10:00.
Despite the early hour, breakfast was a resounding success, with offerings including sausages, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, and beans—though a few adventurous souls opted for a full bacon cheeseburger at the crack of dawn!
A huge thank you to Stagecoach for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to be part of such a momentous occasion. The new buses were truly a sight to behold, and we're honoured to have played a part in their launch festivities.
